Delhi, the hub of tourism in northern India was granted the class of an independent state in the year 1992. The capital has reflected developmental growth in the recent years. Furthermore, Delhi is an important state in India as most of the administrative headquarters are situated here, and thereby often forms the base for landing in India.
It is well-connected with some of the major cities and towns in India by means of road, rail and air. With International Airport located on the outskirts of Delhi, the city attracts several foreign tourists as well, who usually travel to elsewhere in the country from here.
